Rodger Zeng DA. is founder and owner of Johnston Acupuncture Clinic. Dr. Zeng is Board Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Additionally, he is licensed by the State of Rhode Island as a Doctor of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. (License No. DAOM00006)

He believes in a simple treatment plan using only enough therapy to stimulate and encourage the body to heal itself.

Dr. Zeng studied at the Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China. He received his medical degree in 1987. He was trained and worked on staff at Jiangmen Hospital in Jiangmen City, China. He was an orthopedic surgeon and practiced Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. 

When Dr. Zeng moved to America he obtained his acupuncture licensure in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He has taught at the New England School of Acupuncture in Watertown, Massachusetts. He is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in acupuncture and herbology.

In 1998, Dr. Zeng opened the Johnston Acupuncture Clinic where he practices skilled and compassionate care to his patients. He has practiced at the current location for nearly 20 years now.
